Hundreds of uniforms donated to those in need ahead of the new school year

One Vision Housing has partnered with fellow members of The Sovini Group to donate over 500 uniforms to families across the Liverpool City Region ahead of the new school year.
Around 250 children in Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens and Cheshire will be provided with uniforms this September thanks to donations from the housing association, Sovini Trade Supplies, Sovini Property Services, Sovini Construction and colleagues from across The Sovini Group.
Items from the initiative were donated to uniform banks across the region including Litherland Family Wellbeing Centre, T.A.N.G.O Community Project in St Helens, and Compassion Acts in Southport.
Sue Jackson at Litherland Family Wellbeing Centre, said: “Thank you so much to The Sovini Group and One Vision Housing for donating so many wonderful items to our uniform bank this year. Many local families have really been struggling to provide school clothes due to the cost-of-living crisis, so these uniforms will go a long way in helping support vulnerable families this school year.”
