We take pride in creating clean and welcoming neighbourhoods for our customers. Throughout the year, our Grounds Maintenance Team works hard to keep our communities looking their best. From maintaining green spaces and cutting grass to litter picking and keeping communal areas tidy, our teams play an important role in creating shared spaces where residents can enjoy spending time outdoors.

Small actions make a big difference

Although our teams work hard to maintain these areas, keeping our communities clean is a shared responsibility and we all have a role to play.

Carrying out simple everyday actions can help keep our neighbourhoods looking clean and tidy, such as: 

• Putting litter in the bin or taking it home
• Disposing of waste responsibly
• Cleaning up after pets
• Keeping communal areas free from rubbish
• Taking responsibility for your own waste
• Reporting flytipping when you see it
• Taking pride in your environment 

Everyone can play their part 

Items such as dropped litter or dog fouling, can quickly build up if not disposed of correctly. By working together to keep our streets, pathways, green spaces and communal areas free from litter, we can create welcoming neighbourhoods for everyone to enjoy and where people are proud to call home.
