You are not permitted to keep any items within the communal areas. Items in the communal area are a fire risk, including bikes and prams and are also prone to theft. Leaving items in the communal area is a breach of your tenancy agreement. Perpetrators who leave items in the communal area will face tenancy enforcement action.

  • Fly-tipping

Fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of waste and is a crime. In addition to being unsightly, fly-tipping also causes an increase in rodent activity, which can lead to significant health issues. If you’re found disposing of your rubbish improperly, your tenancy could be at risk, and you will be charged for removal costs and issued with a fixed penalty notice from the Council of £400.

  • Dog fouling

Dog fouling is an environmental crime. Dog fouling left behind by irresponsible dog owners will be subject to tenancy enforcement, and you will be issued with a fixed penalty notice from the Council of £75.
