BNENC launch their Warm Hubs for Winter
Published: 5/9/2024
As energy prices continue to rise, many individuals and families in Breckfield and North Everton are facing the difficult choice between heating their homes and putting food on the table. To provide some support, the Breckfield & North Everton Neighbourhood Council (BNENC) is launching a series of Warm Hubs where residents can come together for warmth, safety, and social connection.
Dates: Starting Monday 30th September and running through Monday 31st March
Time: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Location: Breckfield Centre, Breckfield Road North, Liverpool, L5 4QT
The hubs will provide a warm and welcoming space for residents to socialize, play games, access computers and Wi-Fi, and receive support with welfare and other needs.
In addition to a warm environment, the Warm Hubs will offer a variety of refreshments, including crumpets, toast, porridge, tea, coffee, and soup. Residents can also participate in a variety of activities, such as bingo, walking groups, and boccia.
