Flat entrance door inspections

As your landlord we want to ensure that your home is maintained to a high standard.

Fire doors are an essential element of fire safety. In the event of a fire, your flat entrance door will help prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gasses. We visited your property today to inspect it, but unfortunately; we were unable to gain access as you were not available.

In line with The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, One Vision Housing has a legal obligation to make best endeavours to inspect your flat entrance door once every 12 months. As stipulated in your Tenancy Agreement it is essential that you allow One Vision Housing employees and its contractors working on its behalf to complete these vital works.

Following a number of attempts, our employees and/or contractors have not been able to access your property to inspect your door.

We recently contacted you with a date and time to attend, however if this does not suit, please contact us immediately to rearrange.

You can email us via enquiries@ovh.org.uk, call us on 0300 365 1111 or alternatively, speak to your Neighbourhood Services Officer, Independent Living Officer or indeed any of our employees.

If you identify any faults or damage to your flat entrance door or any communal fire doors, please report this to us immediately.

Let’s work together to keep you safe in your home. Thank you in anticipation, for your assistance and cooperation.
