Under Occupation
If you are underoccupying your home and are funding your rent payments through benefits (Housing Benefit or Universal Credit), you could have your rent benefit payment reduced by 14% for underoccupying one bedroom and 25% for underoccupying two bedrooms.
There are other costs to living in a home that is too big for you and your family. These include heating (gas, electric), general cleaning, and council tax.
Also, your home may be a perfect fit for another family’s housing needs.
Overcrowding
If you overcrowd your home you may be experiencing things like Loss of privacy, reduced sociability, increase in conflict in the household and there may also be, adverse effects on physical and mental health.

Mutual Exchange Scheme
In order to benefit from our mutual exchange scheme you will need to register with Home Swapper and/or Property Pool Plus. Once registered you will need to complete an application which One Vision Housing will make a decision on.

We may occasionally contact you by email or SMS to inform you of potential housing solutions should you wish to relocate to address under-occupation or overcrowding.
