Your guide to local Warm Hubs this winter
Published: 1/12/2025
Winter can be a difficult time for many with dipping temperatures and frequent cold spells. With rising energy bills, many of us are looking for ways to reduce our heating usage.
If you’re worried about keeping warm this winter, support is available. There are many Warm Hubs available near you that provide a free, welcoming, heated space.
What is a Warm Hub?
A Warm Hub is an indoor space (e.g. a library, church or community centre) in your local area that opens its doors during the day and welcomes anyone that needs a safe and warm space. These hubs are completely free to visit and often offer things like free hot beverages, a comfortable place to sit and relax, or chat with other local residents.
