Partnership supporting Sefton’s most vulnerable
Published: 1/2/2026
We truly believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, which is why we are proud to introduce “My Place” – a project delivered in collaboration with Sefton Council, specifically designed to target the increase in rough sleeping across the borough.
Funded by the Government’s Rough Sleepers Initiative, this project is a dedicated effort towards reducing rough sleeping in Sefton. We will be working closely with the Sefton Supported Housing Group to identify and house individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
More than a roof
Breaking the cycle of homelessness can be complex, especially for those individuals who are also facing challenges with their physical health and mental wellbeing or substance misuse.
“My Place” provides a stable home and bespoke person-centred support. We don’t just provide a place to stay; we provide the tools for individuals to manage their health, their homes, and their futures.
Creating lasting change
Rough sleeping on the streets or in night shelters for long periods can leave individuals vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. By offering a viable, long-term alternative, “My Place” aims to protect our most vulnerable residents and influence how homelessness is tackled in the future.
