Our Community Hero Awarded
Published: 2/7/2025
As part of Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week 2025, we are thrilled to announce the recipient of our annual Community Hero Award! This award celebrates individuals who truly embody our values and make a profound, positive difference in their communities.
We were blown away by the overwhelming number of inspiring nominations we received. These nominations truly showcased the many individuals who consistently go above and beyond to support their neighbours.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that this year’s Community Hero Award goes to the truly exceptional Joyce Johnston! Nominated by our very own Customer Experience Manager, Nicola Day, Joyce is a shining example of dedication and community spirit.
Joyce’s passionate and ongoing work within Oxford House made her a clear and worthy winner. She’s an absolutely vital point of contact for our customers, consistently going above and beyond. Not only does Joyce play a crucial role in tackling anti-social behaviour, but she also tirelessly assists with other important issues, like repairs, making a tangible difference to the lives of those around her.
The award was proudly presented to Joyce today by our Head of Housing, Neil Kenwright. A huge congratulations to Joyce – we are truly lucky to have you!
Community heroes like Joyce are absolutely critical in keeping our communities safe, creating opportunities, and building a better future for everyone. One Vision Housing is committed to recognising and celebrating the incredible contributions of our community heroes. By working together, we can create stronger and thriving communities for everyone.
