Keeping our communities clear and safe with Sovini Property Services

Published: 3/7/2025

At One Vision Housing, we’re dedicated to making your home and neighborhood the best they can be. Our Sovini Property Services (SPS)  team works hard to keep outdoor areas around your homes tidy, safe, and pleasant. We believe that well-maintained outdoor spaces are essential for your comfort and peace of mind.

Our teams in action

You might often see our teams out in your neighbourhoods, whether they’re trimming hedges or sprucing up green spaces. There’s a really important reason behind all this work – it’s all about keeping you safe and making your community a great place to live.

For example, our team at SPS has been working hard on Sandy Road, Victoria Road, Corinthians Street, and Walker Drive in Bootle. When we’re there, we’re not just aiming for a tidy look. We’re carefully cutting hedges to make sure that all access points and windows are clear.

Clear pathways means safer routes for you and for emergency services if they ever need to reach your home quickly. In addition, unobstructed windows allow more natural light into your home, making it brighter, more welcoming, and more secure. Each service in our communal cleaning and grounds maintainence schedule is done with your safety and convenience in mind.

This is just a glimpse of the daily dedication of our SPS team. Their commitment to these tasks has a huge impact, creating safer  homes and a better future for communities across the North West.

Working together for cleaner communities – A stand against fly-tipping

We all want to live in clean and welcoming communities. Unfortunately, fly-tipping, the illegal dumping of waste  continues to be a problem. This not only makes our neighbourhoods look untidy but also poses health hazards and costs money that could be better spent elsewhere.

We’re excited to announce we’ve recently launched our Alleyway Strategic Action Plan to directly combat fly-tipping. This plan involves actively cleaning up affected alleyways, whilst also rigorously investigating incidents to prosecute those found illegally fly-tipping. We want to send a clear message that this behaviour will not be tolerated.

We kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping our communities tidy. Please remember to dispose of your waste responsibly. If you have bulky items that need to be removed, please contact your local council for information on bulky waste collection services.
