Times can sometimes be challenging but you don’t have to feel alone. Throughout 2025-2026, the OVH Customer Support Fund along with help from across The Sovini Group has worked hard to provide practical support to our customers when they needed it the most. From moving into a new property to understanding the benefits system, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Settling into a new home

Transforming a house into a home should be exciting, not a stressful financial burden. To equip you with the best possible start in your new home, we have:

• Supported over 200 households in setting up their space with essential furniture and decoration through Homestarter Fund.
• Provided nearly 400 households with high quality materials of paints and decoration packs to design their space with their own choices.

Keeping you warm and secure

Staying warm is an absolute necessity during colder months and so is staying financially secure. To help take off some of the financial pressure for our customers, we have:

• Distributed over £19,000 in fuel vouchers to help keep your heating on and manage energy bills effectively, in partnership with The Torus Foundation, 
• Helped over 150 households avoid financial hardship and secure their tenancies by covering over £140,000 in rent arrears.

Maximising your income

Understanding the benefits system can be quite daunting, but our Welfare Benefits Support team is here for you. Working alongside our partnership with RAISE, our Financial Inclusion Officer secured an incredible £1.165 million in assumed benefit gains for our residents. They have been helping our residents claim backdated underpayments, secure Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) and resolve financial hardships.
