Have your say on Liverpool’s future

Published: 2/4/2025

One Vision Housing is keen to share an important consultation from Liverpool City Council regarding the city’s future economic growth.

Consultation: Inclusive Economic Growth Strategy for Liverpool

  • Start Date: Wednesday 12th February 2025
  • End Date: Wednesday 23rd April 2025

What is this consultation about?

Liverpool City Council is planning how to make our city’s economy better for everyone by 2040. They want to make sure that as Liverpool grows, everyone gets a chance to benefit – that means more jobs, better opportunities for businesses, and stronger communities.

Their big idea for Liverpool in 2040 is to build a city where everyone has a fair chance to succeed. They want to create a place that’s strong, fair, and good for the environment, where everyone can have a good life.

The council has worked with local businesses, schools, and other groups to come up with this plan. Now, they want to know what you think. Your opinion is really important to make sure the plan works for everyone in Liverpool.

You can read the Inclusive Economic Growth Strategy Liverpool 2040 (draft for consultation) here.

Translated copies of the strategy are available in Arabic, Polish, Mandarin, Romanian, and Portuguese. Please email iegsenquiries@liverpool.gov.uk to request a translated copy.
