Customers, families and communities took centre stage as One Vision Housing celebrated its 20th anniversary with a series of special events across the region.

Over the past 20 years, our customers have played a vital role in shaping One Vision Housing and helping improve services. To celebrate this milestone, over 800 people came together for an Involved Customer Celebration and two fun-filled Vision Fest community fun days.

The Involved Customer Celebration recognised the customers who generously give their time, ideas and feedback to help make services better for everyone. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of food, prizes and live entertainment while reflecting on the positive impact customer involvement has had over the years.

The celebrations continued with Vision Fest events at the Equilibrium Centre in Birkenhead and Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre, bringing together customers, families and local residents for a day packed with fun and activities.

From inflatables and sports activities to arts and crafts, live entertainment and community stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The events also gave people the opportunity to meet local organisations, find out about support available in their area and spend time with friends, family and neighbours.

As well as celebrating 20 years of One Vision Housing, the events were a chance to say thank you to the customers, communities and partners who have supported the organisation along the way.

Ian Mitchell, Managing Director of Housing at One Vision Housing, said:

“Reaching 20 years is a proud milestone for One Vision Housing, but these celebrations were really about the people who have been part of that journey.

From recognising the valuable contribution of our involved customers to bringing communities together through Vision Fest, it was fantastic to see so many customers, families, colleagues and partners celebrating with us.

For 20 years, we’ve been committed to creating opportunities and changing lives, with customers at the heart of everything we do. We’d like to thank everyone who has helped shape our story so far and look forward to continuing to make a positive difference in our communities for many years to come.”

While the anniversary celebrations provided an opportunity to look back on the last two decades, they were also a reminder of what makes One Vision Housing special: the people and communities it serves.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this important milestone. Here’s to the next 20 years, together.
