We’re excited to share the latest news from One Vision Housing’s Customer Voice team, and upcoming opportunities for you to get involved and share your feedback.
Upcoming Customer Voice meetings
Customer Voice – Induction session – Thursday 16 Jan, 5pm – 6pm
Review performance figures and provide feedback on areas you think we can improve on.
Location: Online
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Forum – Wednesday 29 Jan, 1pm – 3pm
Help us to make our services more accessible by joining our EDI Forum. Your experiences as a One Vision Housing customer will help to ensure our services are inclusive and equitable for everyone.
Location: Brunswick Youth & Community Centre – 104 Marsh Lane, Bootle
Service Review Group – Target setting meeting – Thursday 13 Feb, 12pm – 2pm
Review performance data and collaborate with other customers to shape our targets for the next year. These targets aim to improve service quality and address any identified areas for improvement.
Location: Regenerus – The Investment Centre, 375 Stanley Road, Bootle
Sovini’s BIG Community Christmas!
For the second year in a row, One Vision Housing has taken part in Sovini’s BIG Community Christmas. During December 2024, we were able to support over 8,000 people across our communities, ensuring they had a wonderful festive season.
As part of this holiday initiative, we:
- Provided 10 food pallets filled with essential items and festive treats plus 2 pallets full of Christmas toys sure to bring joy to hundreds of children.
- Handed out Christmas Eve boxes to local families’
- Supported over a dozen local events and initiatives with Community Development Fund grants from One Vision Housing.
- Delivered Christmas hampers to some our most vulnerable customers.
- Handed out hundreds of selection boxes.
- Sponsored three veteran organisations with Christmas events.
- Hosted a special Christmas party for One Vision Housing’s involved customers.
We may have wrapped up our Christmas activities for 2024, but we look forward to working on how we can create a better future for our customers and communities in 2025.

Building an inclusive future – Join our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Forum
One Vision Housing is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive environment for all which is why in 2024 we launched our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Forum.
As part of our EDI Forum, you’ll share your unique perspective and experience as a One Vision Housing customer to help shape and improve our services. This is your chance to discuss diversity and inclusion, share best practices, build a strong community, and make recommendations on policies, strategies and more.
Warm Welcome: Local Community Spaces
With rising energy costs, you may be finding it difficult to stay warm this winter. Thankfully, there are resources available to help.
Warm hubs are community spaces offering a warm and welcoming environment where people can go to escape the cold. These spaces often provide:
- Heat and refreshments: A warm place to sit, with hot drinks and snacks available.
- Social interaction: Opportunities to connect with others and build community.
- Support and advice: Access to information and guidance on energy efficiency, financial assistance, and other relevant topics.
Compliments, suggestions & complaints
We value customer feedback as a vital tool for improvement. By listening to our customers’ concerns and suggestions, we can identify areas for improvements to enhance the overall experience. We want to make it easy for customers to share their feedback, whether it’s a compliment, suggestion or a complaint. . By doing so, we can continue to provide high-quality housing and support services.

Low-Rise Living Group
We’re recruiting customer to join our newly established Low-Rise Living Group, so if you live in a flat and want to chat, let us know. Meetings will take place either in person or virtually every few months and will give you the opportunity to chat about all things low-rise living. We’ll discuss a variety of topics from communal safety and grounds maintenance, to anti-social behaviour and more. Don’t miss your chance to be heard!

Upcoming Days of Action
Our Neighbourhoods team will be carrying out Days of Action in communities across the Liverpool City Region to help tackle anti-social behaviour and improve the local environment. Contact us to find out more on how you can get involved.
Our next day of action will take please on Tuesday 21 January at Captains Lane, Litherland.
Customer Voice – Star of the Month!
Glenys Bowen, a former educator, has been a valuable member of One Vision Housing’s Scrutiny Panel for over five years. Joining the panel before the COVID-19 pandemic, she brought a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving services for residents.
As a long-time customer herself, Glenys understands the challenges and concerns faced by residents first-hand. Her involvement in the Scrutiny Panel allows her to actively contribute to shaping the future of housing services within her community.
Through her participation, Glenys has been instrumental in elevating resident voices, improving service delivery and building stronger communities.
