A culinary cultural exchange course for Liverpool

The Joseph Lappin Centre has re-launched a community initiative designed to connect people through food and conversation whilst celebrating Liverpool’s diverse cultures.
Funded by Our Liverpool, “Shared Plates, Shared Stories” is a free and friendly cooking group that is designed to bring together local and international women, celebrating culture, food and friendship.
How does it work?
Each week, participants will gather in a welcoming space and under the guidance of a professional chef, the group will cook together, sharing recipes and traditions from their respective cultures.

- Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm
- Location: The Joseph Lappin Centre, Mill Lane, Liverpool, L13 5TF
- Cost: Free
The last session will be held on Thursday, 21st May with a community meal to celebrate everything the group has created together and the skills they’ve learned throughout the project.
