61 new homes coming to east Wirral

Planning permission has been granted to One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, to build 61 new homes in east Wirral.

OVH’s latest development, Mountwood Gardens, will feature 61 new homes including one and two bedroom apartments and a range of two, three and four bedroom houses for Affordable Rent and Rent to Buy.

Situated on the former site of The Dell Primary School, and less than 150 metres from the River Mersey, Mountwood Gardens is set to provide the area with much needed affordable housing. OVH, who are working in partnership with The Sovini Group’s in-house contractor, will be looking to deliver the scheme by early 2022.

The new collection of homes will be available through Affordable Rent and the Government backed Rent to Buy scheme which allows prospective homeowners to rent a new home at 20% below market value enabling them to save for a deposit to purchase a home in the future.
