51 new homes coming to Euxton, Chorley

Published: 4/8/2020

One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, are excited to bring 51 new homes in Euxton, Chorley as part of their new development, Daisy Bank Meadows.

Daisy Bank Meadows will consist of two, three and four-bedroom homes and one-bedroom apartments available through Shared Ownership and affordable housing opportunities.

Contractor Mulbury, who previously worked on OVH’s flagship development Blackbird Grange in Walton, are expected to complete the £6.5m project by November 2021.

The two-hectare site is located between the A49 Wigan Road, Dunrobin Drive and the River Yarrow close to local shops, services and transport routes.

Glyn Fazackerley, construction director at Mulbury, said:

“Our team is excited to be on site and getting this important housing development underway. Homes like these offer local people a chance to stay close to family members and the places where they grew up and to do so in a more affordable way.”

Ian Mitchell, managing director of One Vision Housing, said:

“One Vision Housing is delighted to bring Daisy Bank Meadows to the area of Chorley as part of our ongoing commitment to create thriving, inclusive communities. This development, which forms part of our regeneration agenda, will provide much needed affordable housing to the area in addition to creating opportunities for local residents to get onto the property ladder.”

The energy-efficient homes are of a red-brick appearance and will feature grey roofs and stylish grey doors and windows.

Arranged around two cul-de-sacs, the 41 houses in the development all benefit from garages or private driveways, while the 10 apartments all have spaces in a designated parking area.

The development also makes use of an existing pond to create an attractive area of open green public space. The homes are being built on land that was allocated for development in Chorley Borough Council’s adopted Local Plan.

Those wanting to register their interest in the new homes can do so by contacting the One Vision Housing Sales team at sales@ovh.org.uk
