Taking action on community safety

Published: 2/3/2026

In collaboration with local partners, the Community Safety Team is actively addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB) to ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of residents in our communities.

Earlier this month, we conducted a successful joint operation with Merseyside Police, targeting properties linked to anti-social behaviour. This resulted in six households receiving formal warning letters, clearly stating that their tenancies are now at risk.

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, and those who disrupt the lives of others will face decisive enforcement action.

Netherton community walkabout

In response to reports of increased tension, we collaborated with partners for a visible community walkabout in Netherton on 6th February. Our team successfully engaged with local residents to provide reassurance and identify key actions needed to support the neighbourhood and de-escalate recent concerns.

Report anti-social behaviour

You do not have to suffer in silence. Your support is vital in helping us protect your community. Please report any incidents of ASB, including who is involved and when they occur:

  • One Vision Housing: Call in confidence on 0300 365 1111.
  • Merseyside Police: Contact 101 for criminal activity (always dial 999 in an emergency).
  • Crimestoppers: Report 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
