We believe everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and communities. We are always here to support you during difficult times, however our primary focus is on prevention – acting before abuse and neglect have the chance to begin.
What is safeguarding?
Safeguarding is the term widely used to protect people from harm. We have clear safeguarding policies in place and work closely with partner agencies, including Merseyside Police to ensure our customers and communities remain safe.
Abuse can take many forms, including:
- Physical or sexual abuse
- Neglect
- Financial abuse
- Emotional abuse
- Self-neglect
- Domestic abuse
