National Hate Crime Awareness Week takes place from the 11th-18th October. It’s crucial for our customers to understand what a hate crime is, and how you they get help if they or someone they know is targeted.
What is hate crime?
A hate crime is a term used to describe a range of criminal behaviours where the perpetrator demonstrates hostility towards a victim based on their race, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or transgender identity.
An act of hate crime can include verbal abuse, intimidation, threats, harassment, assault, bullying, and damage to property.
How can I report hate crime?
