Go Global with Bootle’s International Festival

Get ready for a vibrant celebration of diversity as the Bootle International Festival returns to Salt and Tar this May Bank Holiday Monday! This FREE family friendly event has something for everyone. Inviting you to immerse in the vast global cultures through with music, dance, art and a selection of workshops.
Prepare to be moved by the passion of Latin America, rich culture of the Congo, resilience of Ukraine and the spirituality of China, expect to be moved by their music and performances. This culturally rich event is set to light up Bootle with incredible array of performances and experiences.
Expect to see energetic Congolese music, mesmerising Chinese Dragon dancing, the rhythmic sounds of the Waterloo Drummers, enchanting giant puppets, captivating traditional performances, uplifting local choirs and so much more!
This event is planned by the Sefton Performers Network, in proud partnership with Sefton Council, In Another Place, Salt and Tar Fringe and Sefton CVS, working together to celebrate Sefton’s diversity.
