Ketamine Awareness Training (Free)
Would you like to make a real difference in our community? This invaluable Ketamine Awareness Training aims to raise awareness on the use and abuse of Ketamine across the Liverpool City Region.
Date: Tuesday 13 May 2025
Time: 11:00 – 12:00
Location: Face-to-face session will take place in The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority headquarters at Number 1 Mann Island, L3 1BP.
The session is delivered by Alcohol and drug advice and info from Change Grow Live
Prevent Awareness Session (Free)
This Prevent Awareness Session, led by Declan Sammin, the LCC PREVENT Engagement Officer, offers essential training to help you prevent people from being drawn into extremism or terrorism.
Date: Tuesday 20 May
Time: 14:00 – 15:30 Face to face
Location: Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Number One Mann Island L3 1BP

Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
Have you ever considered the rewarding career of a Teaching Assistant (TA)? This Level3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools Diploma could be your stepping stone. If you do not have your Level 2 qualification or prior TA experience, do not worry as you can still enrol to this course. With a guaranteed job interview upon completion, this course is amazing way to launch your career.
Enjoy the flexibility of one engaging tutor-led session per week with the rest of the work completed online, self-study and assignments as well practical experience through a work placement.
Start dates: 14th May on either Mondays or Wednesdays, or 27th May on either Tuesdays or Thursdays
Time: 10am – 2pm
Duration: 24 weeks
Who is eligible: Individuals aged 19+ who have resided in the UK for at least three years. Must be able to access a computer, laptop, or tablet as well as live in the Northwest region (including Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester & West Yorkshire).
