Don’t let fly-tipping ruin Christmas!

Published: 2/12/2025

As you clear space for new gifts, remember to dispose of unwanted items and packaging responsibly. Fly-tipping is illegal, attracts vermin, and makes areas unsafe.

In partnership with Sefton Council and Sovini Waste Solutions, we are actively clearing affected areas. We are also significantly increasing surveillance and pursuing legal action to deter offenders and enforce our stance.

We need your help to succeed:

  • Dispose correctly – Break down gift boxes and use your refuse bins.
  • Donate – If old items, such as toys or furniture are in good, reusable condition, please consider donating them to those in need this Christmas.
  • Book it – For large items that won’t fit in your bin, arrange a bulky waste collection with your local council or take them to a recycling centre.
  • Report it – Help us protect your community. If you spot fly-tipping, report it immediately and anonymously!

Help us tackle fly-tipping in your community. To report fly-tipping incidents anonymously, and direct links to your local council to book a bulky item collection for your own large household goods please see here for more information.
