Whether you’re passionate about shaping services, sharing your experiences, or simply want to learn more, our friendly team is here to help. We’ll talk you through the different ways you can get involved and find opportunities that match your interests.

Upcoming groups
• Service Review Group – Wednesday, 18th February, 12pm – 3pm
Our Service Review Group examine specific service areas that aren’t performing up to standard and the group may speak with managers of these service areas and make suggestions for improvement.
• Policy and Strategy Review Group – Tuesday, 24th February, 12pm – 2pm
Our Policy and Strategy Group provide feedback on our policies and ensure that the documents are fair, clear and reflect the needs of customers. By sharing their lived experiences, they help to shape decisions that affect their communities.
• Leaseholders Group – Monday, 23rd February, 3pm – 7pm
Our Leaseholders Group is for anyone who is a leaseholder or a shared owner tenant. The group will discuss things such as service charges, maintenance charges and building management.
• Complaints Group – Wednesday, 25th February, 12pm – 2pm
Our Complaints Champions come together to review and address our complaints process. Their role is to examine complaints and ensure that they are handled fairly and transparently. The group identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to our complaints handling process.
From CV to Interview Success – Free Online Webinar
Weightmans is pleased to invite social housing tenants to a free online webinar, designed to strengthen CVs and build confidence in job interviews. This practical and welcoming session is suitable for individuals at any stage of their working life, whether they’re exploring new opportunities, looking to progress, returning to work, or simply refreshing their CV.
Attendees will gain clear, actionable guidance on writing or updating a CV that reflects their strengths, tailoring applications for different roles, preparing effectively for interviews, answering common interview questions, and feeling more confident throughout the process.

Feeling unsure about your benefits or need help understanding your welfare rights? We’ve got you!
One Vision Housing now offers a new online Welfare Rights Surgery. This service provides free, confidential expert advice every Wednesday, giving you the clarity you need from the comfort of your own home.

Advancing digital skills in our community
Sefton Council is working with OVH on login LCR, a programme supporting residents who are currently offline. Free lenovo tablets are available for those without a device, along with small group sessions offering guidance on setting up and using the tablets safely. Sessions will run across the borough throughout February.
To request a place, email Library.Service@sefton.gov.uk. OVH can also register your interest via getinvolved@ovh.org.uk. If sessions fill up you may join a waiting list for a second round of devices expected in early March.
Neighbourhood Drop-in Sessions
If you have a tenancy-related query and want to speak to a member of our Neighbourhood Services Team in person, then please feel free to visit one of our drop-in sessions for assistance.
Whether you need to chat to someone about your rent account, ASB, or just need to report a repair, we’re here to help.
