Continuing our support for LGBTQIA+ communities

At One Vision Housing, we’re committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. That’s why we’re proud to uphold our commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community, a commitment we’ve demonstrated by attaining the Navajo Charter Mark for over four years.

The Navajo Charter Mark, sponsored by In-Trust Merseyside and supported by vital LGBTQIA+ community networks. We were delighted to first receive this mark back in 2021, a recognition of our good practices, deep commitment, and understanding of the specific needs, issues, and barriers faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in Merseyside.

How does this commitment benefit you, our customers?

Our dedication to Navajo Charter Mark directly helps us to:

• Make our services truly accessible and welcoming for the LGBTQIA+ community. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident using our services.
• Ensure our organisation is fully aware of all legal frameworks that impact how we deliver our services, guaranteeing we always meet our obligations.

• Identify and proactively address any difficulties we might face in meeting the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring we provide the best possible support.

Why are we getting reassessed?

To ensure we meet the standards of the Navajo Merseyside Charter Mark, Navajo conduct a review every two years. Having held the mark for four years, it’s time for our reassessment. If successful, this re-accreditation will be a proud step in our ongoing mission to become an equal, diverse, and inclusive provider for all our customers and colleagues.
