Coming together to clear Poets Park in Bootle
Published: 1/8/2025
Our commitment to clear neighbourhoods extends beyond just clearing alleyways, we’re dedicated to improving all communal areas within our communities.
Last week, we proudly united with Sefton Council, Capacity and several other local housing associations, as part of the Poets Park Partnership Group. Our collective efforts focused on tackling litter in Poets Park, with the clear purpose of creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children and for all to connect with nature.
As a group we supported customers in the area by disposing unwanted bulky items from their homes. Through this support we hope to reduce the dumping of unwanted items in the neighbourhood and maintain a clean community.
Thanks to everyone’s efforts we removed a total weight of 3.42 tons of waste from the area. This collaboration has created a cleaner and safer Poets Park and the surrounding area.
Help us tackle fly-tipping
As we continue to clear our neighbourhoods, we urge you to help us tackle fly-tipping and dispose of your waste responsibly.
If you witness illegal fly-tipping incidents, please report it confidentially to our team at 0300 365 1111 or submit a report HERE!
Together we can keep our neighbourhoods clean and safe!
