A Day of Action and Community Spirit
Published: 2/7/2025
Earlier this month, our mission to create clean and thriving neighbourhoods continued with another successful Day of Action. Our committed team made significant strides and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers.
Hankey Drive, Keenan Drive and Abbott Drive in Bootle received a visit from our Customer Voice and Neighbourhoods team along with Kerry, Sefton Council Area Coordinator – South Sefton, MP Peter Dowd and Councillor Tom Spring for Netherton and Orrell Ward.
Together, we tackled the fly-tipping in the neighbourhood, transforming previously littered areas. To assist customers, Sovini Waste Solutions kindly provided three skips, which were put to use as customers disposed of any unwanted items in their homes. As you can see, our skips were put to good use!
We were thrilled by the enthusiasm of our customers; many expressed a desire to get involved in transforming their alleyways. to receive the positive feedback from customers and the enthusiasm of customers wanting to get involved in transforming our alleyways. One customer created a group chat for neighbourhood involvement in keeping these alleyways clean and safe for children to play.
It is incredible to see the real progress and the community coming together to ensure the longevity of these clear neighbourhoods.
Your role in keeping our communities clean
As we continue our commitment to clear our alleyways, we urge you to help us with this mission. Please responsibly dispose your unwanted items and maintain the upkeep of the already visited alleyways.
Fly-tipping is not only a health hazard and harmful to the environment but is also detrimental to the quality of your homelife.
If you witness any illegal fly-tipping incidents, please report it confidentially to our team at 0300 365 1111 or submit a report HERE.
Let’s work together to keep our communities clean and safe!
