We are committed to providing our customers with up-to-date information on their rights as social housing residents.

Four Million Homes have released training videos to help you learn about your rights easily and accessibly:

  • Know your rights to engage and be heard

    The first training video highlights the initial skills and knowledge to get your views across to us about where you live.

    It looks at the importance of resident engagement, how to get views from your community, understanding how landlords make decisions, who to approach and some recent key law changes.

  • Resident panels

    This training video sets the context and explains why resident panels are so important.

    It covers the role of resident panels; what they should do; who should be on them; support landlords should give and how we know if resident panels are improving services.

  • How to run an effective residents' association

    This video sets the context and explains why residents’ associations are so important.

    It covers what a residents’ association is; why have one; the roles and responsibilities of committee members; how to go about setting up a residents’ association and the support you can expect from your landlord.
