We are proud to announce our continued commitment to supporting local veterans. As part of The Sovini Group, One Vision Housing is actively involved in several Remembrance events and year-round support initiatives.

Remembrance event

Remembrance Service on Sunday 10th November 10:30am at Bootle Cenotaph

The Sovini Group and OVH will be in attendance to lay a wreath at the Bootle Cenotaph as part of the local Remembrance service.

Veteran organisation support

Southport Veterans

Remembrance Service, Thursday 7th November at Altcar Training Camp.

Veterans march through Altcar square followed by refreshments sponsored by OVH

There will be around 100 people in attendance (incl. 70+ veterans, family members and sponsors).

Refreshments will be provided, sponsored through OVH Community Development Fund.

Christmas dinner

Southport

Christmas meal for 100 local veterans in north Sefton.

Food will be provided, sponsored through OVH Community Development Fund.

Veterans in Sefton

Brunswick Youth & Community Centre, Bootle

Christmas meal for 35 veterans and their families in Bootle.

Food will be provided, sponsored through OVH Community Development Fund.

Veterans HQ

Christmas food pallet donated by OVH to support Liverpool veterans and their families.

OVH also sponsored D-Day events for Veterans HQ earlier this year which saw 170 veterans and family members commemorate the day with an afternoon tea style event.

One Vision Housing has a long-standing relationship with the Armed Forces community and was the first housing group in the country to be awarded the Gold Award by the Armed Forces Covenant in 2018.

As recipients of the Covenant Gold Award, we are committed to supporting those who make huge sacrifices on our behalf, ensuring they receive the recognition and support the deserve.
