Update for vulnerable persons
Published: 2/10/2020
The guidance for clinical extremely vulnerable persons who were previously shielding has been updated by Public Health Liverpool to reflect Liverpool’s ‘very high’ tier-three alert level.
On Wednesday 14th October 20202, Liverpool, along with Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral were placed in the ‘very high’ alert level of the Government’s new three-tier system of interventions to tackle the spread of COVID-19. This means, the city and the wider Liverpool City Region is under the strictest set of restrictions due to the high rate of infection in the area.
