OVH provide support to Netherton community

One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, have furthered their support of local communities with a pallet donation to the Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre worth over £2k and an additional £500 Community Development Fund grant to deliver cooked meals.
The Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre is experiencing unprecedented demand in the face of COVID-19 and currently deliver food and cooked meals to 200 families and 60 vulnerable adults.
As lockdown continues, vulnerable residents have lost support from their family members as they are no longer able to visit and assist with meals. Volunteers at the centre have been cooking meals and delivering them to families as well as offering advice on how to cook.
In addition, donated funds will enable the centre to purchase materials for their Cloud Project which teaches residents how to make scrubs for the NHS.
Marie Savin Bonsall, Centre Manager of Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre, said:
“It’s thanks to organisations like One Vision Housing we are able to operate and deliver essential services to the Netherton community. The social and economic impacts from COVID-19 on already vulnerable residents, including people affected by insecure employment, is pushing people into crisis. We rely on donations like this to help keep our services going and we would like to thank One Vision Housing for their generous donation.”
