Planning permission granted for 51 homes in Euxton, Chorley

One Vision Housing is delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted to build 51 homes in Euxton to help meet local demand for affordable housing.

North West based One Vision Housing will be working in collaboration with Mulbury Homes to deliver the scheme which is due to complete autumn 2020.

Construction will start this summer on a range of two, three and four bedroom homes on the land between Wigan Road, Dunrobin Drive and the River Yarrow and these will be available for Affordable Rent and Shared Ownership.

Chorley Council’s Development Control Committee approved the planning application on Tuesday 21 May 2019.

Helen Reddington, Head of Sales at One Vision Housing, said: “We are delighted to have planning permission to build 51 new homes in Euxton. This is our first development in Chorley and we are excited to bring a mix of house types and tenure to provide opportunities that will help local people to access well designed new homes, in an area where high house prices and rents can make it difficult to find an affordable home. We are also thrilled to be working again with Mulbury Homes to continue our successful partnership to provide quality homes in the North West.”

David Wroe, Operations Director for Mulbury, added: “We’re excited to be moving forward with this project which will see this site sensitively developed to provide much-needed new homes in Euxton.

“To ensure these homes complement others in the local area, a new public open space will be created in the development including footpaths and ponds. We aim to start work on site this summer with a completion for development expected in autumn 2020.

“This is our third scheme for One Vision Housing following the success of housing developments in Ainsdale and Liverpool. We’re proud to be supporting One Vision Housing’s efforts to provide new affordable housing in the region.”
