One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, recently provided much needed furniture to local domestic abuse charity, Betterdays Homes, as part of their vision to create thriving, inclusive communities.
Bespoke furniture and decorations donated by One Vision Housing’s Development arm have been used to furnish Betterdays Homes, a charity offering accommodation and a host of other services to those affected by domestic abuse.
Since its inception, Betterdays Homes has been a safe haven for domestic abuse survivors across Merseyside, by offering not only a place to call home, but counselling sessions, access to educational courses, help with job searches and re-location support.
Here’s what one Betterdays Homes service user had to say about the donation:
“I would like to take a moment to thank One Vision Housing for the lovely bed they have given me. I am very grateful as I can now sleep better and my legs are rested well. It looks stunning in my room making me feel homely and special.”
In addition to supporting Betterdays Homes, OVH have also recently donated recycled furniture from their void properties to Alder Hey to raise valuable funds.
James Constable, Sales Manager for One Vision Housing, said:
“At One Vision Housing we are dedicated to creating thriving, inclusive communities and as part of this the Sales and Development team wanted to ensure that items used as part of our show homes were donated to Betterdays Homes, who work tirelessly to improve the lives of domestic abuse survivors. It’s our hope that these donations will allow service users to feel more at home, while they focus on their health and well-being.”
