According to the latest Survey of Tenants and Residents, One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, have come out as one of the top housing association in the North of England for older people.
Survey results indicated 99% of OVH’s ‘Housing for Older People’ customers were satisfied with the quality of their homes and a further 98% thought their homes offered value for money. In addition, 95% were satisfied with repairs and overall services.
Around 1,500 customers participated in the annual survey which serves to find out what the housing association is doing well, and where customers think they can improve.
In addition to telephone calls, OVH also visited Retirement Housing Schemes, to ask customers for their opinions face-to-face to ensure as many customers as possible could participate.
The annual Survey of Tenants and Residents is benchmarked against results from HouseMark – jointly owned by the Chartered Institute of Housing and the National Housing Federation – HouseMark collects the most in-depth and robustly validated data in the housing sector.
In recognition of the results OVH are holding Independent Living Week 4th – 8th November which will celebrate the many aspects of their Independent Living Service.
Ian Mitchell, Managing Director One Vision Housing, said:
“We are delighted to be recognised as a leading housing association for older people. This is proof of our ongoing commitment to provide individuals and families who require assistance with the support they need to live independently in their homes.”
