National Hate Crime Awareness Week
Published: 2/10/2020
10th – 17th October marks National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2020.
Hate crime is a term used to describe a range of criminal behaviour where the perpetrator demonstrates hostility towards a victim’s race, disability, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity.
A hate crime can include verbal abuse, intimidation, threats, harassment, assault and bullying, as well as damages to property.
At One Vision Housing we do not tolerate hate crime and support our customers to combat any issues they may be facing in their own home or community.
During National Hate Crime Awareness Week we want everyone to help us spread a message of H.O.P.E.
• Hate crime awareness
• Operational responses to hate
• Preventing hate crime
• Empowering communities
