Better Social Housing Review

The Better Social Housing Review was established by the National Housing Federation and Chartered Institute of Housing to examine issues related to the quality of social housing and improve the sector as a whole. The review identified seven key recommendations, with the third focusing on how housing associations can collaborate with tenants, contractors, and frontline staff to create and implement new standards for exceptional maintenance and repair services.

Customer Voice – Star of the Month!

Bernie Blackmore is a long-time member of our Scrutiny Panel. His contributions have helped to shape and influence our services for nearly a decade now. Here’s what he had to say about his Customer Voice journey:

“I joined Customer Voice about 9 years ago. I previously worked as a Pub Manager. Back in the day, you left school at 15 and trained as an engineer. I joined Customer Voice because I was very good communicating with a wide variety of people. I have also been running a pensioner’s club for about 10 years now as well. I recommend that anyone who wants to join Customer Voice should. As by joining you can help others and also OVH to improve the quality of life for yourself and other customers.”

If you’re interested in becoming an involved customer, reach out to a member of our team today for more details and to stay up to date with the latest news and engagement opportunities.
