Big Door Knock: Our customers voices matter
Published: 5/10/2024
One Vision Housing continue to build a better future for their customers with their latest “Big Door Knock”, in collaboration with Sefton Council and Merseyside Police.
On Tuesday 22nd October, Neighbourhood Services, Customer Safety and Customer Voice team visited Partington, Summers, Tumilty and Webster Avenue areas to gather feedback from customers.
The “Big Doors Knock” project is crucial for One Vision Housing to understand challenges customers are facing in the area. By engaging with customers, One Vision Housing can better understand concerns and identify areas of improvement.
Following the recent feedback, One Vision Housing will be taking action to address the issue of fly-tipping. This includes removing existing waste, providing skips for disposal, and implementing preventative measures such as installing CCTV cameras, conducting twice weekly inspections and collaborating with Sefton Council’s environmental enforcement team.
Fly-tipping is not only unsightly but also illegal. One Vision Housing is committed to working with Sefton Council to identify and prosecute those responsible for offending. Offenders could face tenancy enforcement action, which could lead to eviction.
Neil Kenwright, Head of Neighbourhood Housing at One Vision Housing, enthusiastically stated:
“We are looking forward to working with our customers and improving the look and feel of the area. We are all in it together, and the majority of customers we spoke to enjoy living in this area and we’re committed to helping them feel even more at home and proud of their community.”
One Vision Housing and Sefton Council anticipate that this customer engagement and action plan will greatly improve the local environment and customer satisfaction.
