One Vision Housing has successfully launched their flagship development at Blackbird Grange, Walton providing 66 new build homes for Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership.
The stunning collection of two, three and four bedroom homes has received an unprecedented amount of interest with over 600 enquiries during its first release, further emphasising the high demand of affordable homes in the area.
The Blackbird Grange Development occupies the site of the former Walton Hospital which is the birth place of the Liverpool legend, Sir Paul McCartney.
The scheme was designed and delivered in Partnership with local contractor Mulbury Homes, Eden Building Design and E3Cube.
It forms part of One Vision Housing’s current Development Programme to deliver 1,100 new homes between 2018-21.
The £10m scheme received grant funding of £2.4m from Homes England, as part of their current Shared Ownership and affordable homes programme.
Director of Development, Louise Davies, said: “We are delighted to have welcomed buyers into their new homes on this highly anticipated development. The properties have been designed to an exceptionally high standard to meet the aspirations of today’s budding homeowner – with modern kitchens and bright open plan living areas throughout.
The development has clearly been well received, based upon the phenomenal level of interest. Rent to Buy provides aspiring homeowners with an opportunity to rent for five years whilst they save for that much needed deposit, with an option to purchase their home at the end. We have a pipeline of similar schemes across Merseyside which we will be delivering over the next two years.”
