Support into work
We want to make Sefton a better place to live and work. To assist with this goal we employ Employment and Skills Officers, who supports tenants and the wider community with all their employment, education and training needs.
They will also be working with different teams within OVH and local agencies to provide practical advice and identify work opportunities in the community.
Job Clubs
We currently run Job clubs for OVH tenants, where our employment and skills Officer can offer support to those looking for work.
We currently run the following work clubs.
Feel Good Factory, Glovers Lane, Netherton:
Tuesdays 10am to 1pm, appointment only.
L30 Community Centre and Grange school, Sefton estate, Bootle:
Wednesdays 10am to 1pm- First touch computer class.
Wednesdays 1pm to 4pm- Work Club
Brunswick Youth and Community Centre, Marsh Lane, Bootle.
Thursday 12:30pm to 4pm
Willow House, Maple Close, Seaforth.
Fridays 10am to 1pm, Drop in.
