OVH Help Hub recognised as Best Practice

OVH Help Hub has been recognised as “Best Practice” by the Housing Quality Network.

Our online portal which launched in October 2017, has been praised for preparing customers from across Sefton, Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire and West Lancashire for the roll out of Universal Credit.

Universal Credit is a single monthly payment for people of working-age who are on a low income, and it replaces six legacy benefits. The process of receiving first Universal Credit payment can take up to 6 weeks.

OVH Help Hub offers practical support for those migrating to the new system with step by step advice on making a claim and a comprehensive directory of local services.

The Housing Quality Network (HQN) have been impressed by the wide range of areas the portal covers, from setting up free email accounts (UC claims are made online) to help with school costs and cooking on a budget.
