Liverpool Pride, an event to celebrate all things LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) will be held on Saturday 4th August. The theme for the day is Nautical but Nice!
Pride will take place at the Pier Head in Liverpool and throughout the Stanley Street Gay Quarter.
One of the highlights of the event is the Pride March, which gives the LGBT community a chance to parade through the streets of Liverpool town centre to raise awareness of homophobia in our city.
One Vision Housing has joined a group of other Housing Associations to show our commitment to equality and diversity, the group is known as ‘Homes for everyone’. Homes for everyone have been asked to lead the march this year with One Vision Property Services offering to build the float for us.
The march is completely free to join, so why not come and show your support by following the Homes for Everyone float or just pop along to the pier head later on for a day of family fun, entertainment and live acts.
Please contact Amy Brown from One Vision Housing 0300 365 1111 if you wish to get involved.
