Garage Sites to be Improved
One Vision Housing has announced an ambitious environmental programme to improve garage sites.
Over the next few months Neighbourhood Management Teams will be visiting garage sites owned by One Vision Housing and consulting residents who live nearby.
Previous consultations and inspections revealed that some garages would cost more to repair than the potential income they could bring in, some residents also raised concerns about security, poor lighting and the general low quality on some sites.
The environmental programme will see the rejuvenation of some popular sites, the demolition of problem garages and subject to further consultations with local people different ways to use the land will be explored. This information will form the basis for architectural designs.
We will be preparing tender documentation in the near future for the work to be delivered.
