OVH has published its first Race Equality Action Plan. This covers the period 2008-2009 and focuses on achieving race equality through six key areas of our business:

:-Resident and community involvement
:-Contractors, consultants and procurement
:-Working with partners
It sets out our commitment to promoting race equality and tackling discrimination in all our activities.
We are committed to ensuring that:
eople from all ethnic groups have equal access to our services and decision-making processes, and that black and minority ethnic (BME) communities are equally satisfied with the quality of services they receive.
:-Our staff profile reflects the communities we work in, with BME staff fairly represented at all levels.
:-OVH is led by a board that fairly represents the communities we work in and who act as true leaders in promoting race equality.
:-Any contractor, consultant or partner working with OVH delivers its business to residents in a way that promotes race equality.
